This Cookie Policy explains which cookies AdCharter uses and why. The short version: our public website uses none, and the AdCharter application uses only the cookies it needs to work. For everything else about personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, store or read information on your device in other ways. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
2. Our website
Our public website at https://adcharter.app (the home page, pricing, legal pages and contact page) sets no cookies and uses no local storage. It has no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels and no social media plug-ins, and it makes no requests to third parties: our fonts and images are served from our own servers.
3. The AdCharter application
The AdCharter application, including its sign-up and sign-in pages, uses only strictly necessary cookies. They are set by AdCharter, are used only by AdCharter and are not used for analytics, advertising or tracking.

- Duration: 14 days.
- Set by: AdCharter
Organisation filter (local storage)
- Name:
adcharter.organisation-filter.followed by your account number - Purpose: If you work with several organisations, remembers the organisation you last chose in the filter at the top of the application, so your lists open the same way next time in this browser.
- Duration: Until you choose “All organisations” or clear this site's data in your browser. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
- Set by: AdCharter
Like any website, your browser may also keep copies of the application's files in its cache so that pages load faster. These copies contain no personal data.
4. Third-party pages
Some actions take you to pages hosted by other companies: Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal (payments), Google (“Sign in with Google”), Facebook Login (connecting Meta) and Slack (adding the AdCharter app). Those pages set their own cookies under their own policies. We don't control those cookies and receive no information from them. See the privacy and cookie policies of Stripe, Google, Meta and Slack.
5. Why there is no cookie banner
The law requires consent for cookies unless they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for (UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the EU ePrivacy Directive and CNIL guidance in France). All the cookies we use fall under this exemption, so we don't ask for consent and don't show a cookie banner.
6. Controlling cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block our cookies, you can still read our website, but you won't be able to sign in to the AdCharter application.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever want to use cookies that aren't strictly necessary, such as analytics cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting them. Every new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
